Today was our first design team meeting for “Walking on the Moon, walking with the Son” featuring Astronaut and retired Air Force Brigadier General Charlie Duke (www.charlieduke.net ), in April 2011. The gifts and strengths of the members of the team created strong momentum. God is definitely doing something beyond what either Chris or I could have imagined!
During the meeting this afternoon, dreams and ideas were flowing like fresh coffee on a cold morning; each idea spurred new ideas. Even some of the issues we identified as potential obstacles were quickly overcome as different members of the team worked out of their strengths to identify solutions. We’re still in the very early stages of planning, but already everyone involved is very excited.
